Big things are coming for the MCU

The future of the MCU on Disney+ is filled with interesting stories, from the emergence of Wonder Man, to the continuation of Wanda and Vision’s tales that started with WandaVision.

The follow-up to that show, rumoured to be focusing on Vision’s search for his family, and his want to rediscover his humanity, is said to occur in Vision Quest, a direct sequel that will come from Marvel soon.

WandaVision is just the first part in the epic journey of one of Marvel's families

While details are thin on the ground for the show, and even the title is up for debate recently, casting is happening, which means the show is moving forward, albeit slowly.

According to Deadline, actor Ruarridh Mollica has been cast for the show and, of course, fans are speculating on which character the actor will play.

The most obvious choice, as highlighted by Redditor Ok_Gift_2739, is Tommy, one of Vision and Wanda’s sons.

“This is most likely Tommy, I'm betting. I'm not all that familiar with him, but he is in the same age range as Joe Locke just a few years older I could be wrong, but it's interesting that they stated he is one of the main leads alongside Vision,” said the Redditor.

Tommy is the brother of Billy, who we saw in Agatha All Along, last year, and as far as we know, Billy is searching for his brother in the MCU currently.

This would make a lot of sense, as Tommy is equally important to the overall story, and it would set up another younger hero for the future of the MCU.

Tommy ends up becoming Speed, one of the Young Avengers, so this could be another step in setting up a future part of the franchise.

The reception to the WandaVision arc has been consistently positive, and this could very well be another great addition to the Disney+ line-up.
