Marvel fans lose it as Deadpool & Wolverine stars reunite for new announcement

It's a no from Ryan

Deadpool and Wolverine are back together for a new announcement but they aren’t coming back to the MCU, well not yet.

Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds have recreated their video from two years ago when Reynolds first dropped the news that Jackman would return as Wolverine.

Marvel will be back in cinemas next year with the ensemble team-up Thunderbolts*

The stars have gone back to the same house, with the same sofa, but this time it’s Hugh Jackman talking to the camera while Ryan Reynolds walks up the stairs in the background.

After sharing that his return as Wolverine allowed him to have the time of his life, the Wolverine actor pondered what comes next.

He calls back to Ryan Reynolds and asks, “Hey Ryan? You wanna come to one of my live performances at Radio City Music Hall?”

Without missing a beat, Reynolds replies, “No” while shaking his head towards the camera.

The next thing we get is a title card for From New York With Love.

The two stars discuss the upcoming show and, while they’re both natural entertainers, Reynolds confirms he won’t be appearing.

So, it’s not quite a new MCU announcement or team-up, but it’s great to see the two together again.

Perhaps we’ll get another of these videos over the next couple of years and find out that the two will appear in Avengers: DOOMSDAY or Avengers: Secret Wars.

With both of those MCU projects bringing a close to the multiverse shenanigans we wouldn’t be shocked if Deadpool and Wolverine show up in some capacity.

This collaboration is also a good reminder that Deadpool & Wolverine is now available on streaming services to watch at home - the perfect place to spot all those easter eggs and cameos.

Who knows what is actually next for the stars, but we’ll all likely hear about it via Instagram where both continue to discuss working together.
