LEGO Star Wars is back, and it looks better than ever

A new villain has entered the fray

At long last, LEGO Star Wars is back and this time, a brand-new villain is set to turn the previous season upside down.

Courtesy of new poster art released earlier this week, a new villain is heading to the LEGO Star Wars universe and it is none other than Solitus who will be voiced by Dan Stevens.

In the brand-new poster, we can see Solitus striking a pose whilst wielding not one, but two bright purple lightsabers as he stands atop a pile of fallen LEGO bricks.

Solitus will star in LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy - Pieces of the Past which is set to arrive on 19 September on Disney+.

The 4-part sequel series will continue the story of 2024’s LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy and this time, Solitus will be making an appearance alongside his brother-turned-nemesis Darth Dev.

To celebrate the release of this upcoming television show, a brand-new LEGO set is also available to pre-order and showcases some of the much-loved characters from this upcoming season.

The LEGO The Force Burner Snowspeeder set comes with three collectible mini figures: Solitus, Darth Dev, and Sig Greebling.

It consists of 349 pieces and gives us a sneak peek of an epic chase which could take place during the events of LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy - Pieces of the Past.

The kit is set to go live on 1 August and comes in at $54.99 which is not half bad for three figures and a vehicle.

Each character also wields a lightsaber and yes, that includes Solitus’ iconic dual purple ones.

As mentioned, season two of Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy airs in September with the series following the story of Sib Greebling who accidentally activates a powerful Jedi relic which rewrites reality.

As a result, he must fight to restore things to normal and this is where season two will continue from.
