Harry Potter fans have finally learned what happened to the Malfoy family following The Deathly Hallows.

Without question, the Harry Potter franchise is one of the biggest properties in all of entertainment whether it’s movies, video games and of course, novels. We’re even getting a live-action Harry Potter TV series from Game of Thrones production company, HBO.

Check out the Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows trailer below!

In both the novels and the movies, Harry Potter and the Death Hallows concluded with an epic showdown against Lord Voldemort and his minions. Well, concluding events if you exclude the stage play, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child.

However, the conclusion of The Deathly Hallows left us with some questions, such as what happened to the Malfroy family?

“What happened to the Malfoy family after the battle and Voldemort died, do you think?” asked Redditor ShannonCT21. Thankfully fellow users of the thread were eager to provide the much-needed answers.

“According to J.K. Rowling, they (the Malfroy’s) avoided Azkaban because they revealed the names of all the Death Eaters still at large after the battle,” replied rogvortex58 with otterpines18 adding “Harry vouched for Narcissa because she lied to Voldemort that he (Harry) was dead.”

User Fleur498 also provided added information from J.K. Rowling that Draco Malfroy “grew up to lead a modified version of his father’s existence; independently wealthy, without any need to work, Draco inhabits the Malfoy Manor with his wife and son.”

So there you have it, if you ever wondered what happened to the snitches aka the Malfroy family after The Deathly Hallows, now you know.

As for the Harry Potter HBO reboot, while we don't have a release date at the time of writing, we could be waiting until at least 2027 for it to make its highly anticipated premiere. We’ll keep you posted when information on its release date arrives.
