Earlier this month saw CD Projekt RED and Unreal Engine come together to bring fans their first look at the upcoming The Witcher 4.
The event was met with mixed reviews with some fans praising the incredible graphics and improvements that The Witcher 4 could feature whilst others were concerned that the end result will look nothing like the tech demo.
Whatever your thoughts, it seems as though attention has already turned to potential sequels despite the fact that The Witcher 4 is still far away from release.

This news comes after an interview with CD Projekt RED’s Jan Hermanowicz, engineering production manager on The Witcher 4.
In the GamesRadar interview, Hermanowicz spoke about the new technology used in the Unreal Engine showcase and what this means for the future of the franchise, especially following the news that CDPR has plans for a completely new trilogy starting with The Witcher 4.
Hermanowicz said that it’s "definitely too early to talk about what will be in the rest of the new saga” and that the tech demo is, well, just a demo and the full contents of The Witcher 4 is still being kept under wraps.
"We have multiple projects in flight now. [Cyberpunk 2077 sequel Project] Orion moved to pre-production,” he continued.

"The development of those things and those improvements for open-world technology go across all those projects and benefit all of those projects. So in a sense, we are now using The Witcher 4, and all the assets which are for this technical demo, which is a vehicle to push the tech forward, in return benefits all of the industry."
This is a bold claim indeed and we can only imagine what this will mean for The Witcher 5 and The Witcher 6 when they are inevitably released in the future.
