The Elder Scrolls Castles is now widely available, and is well worth diving into if you haven’t already.

It’s not The Elder Scrolls VI, no, but it is a nice alternative in the meantime.

The Elder Scrolls Castles is, if you didn’t know, a new mobile game from the team that created Fallout Shelter.

In the game, you’ll “build your own dynasty where every day in our world is a year in the game's world”.

“Citizens are born, they die, rulers change, and can be betrayed,” the synopsis teases.

The game is totally free to download, but that’s not why you should download The Elder Scrolls Castles (although it’s a very viable reason).

You should download The Elder Scrolls Castles because players believe it features a tease for The Elder Scrolls VI.

Take a look at the OG teaser trailer for The Elder Scrolls VI below.

This tidbit was brought to light by Reddit user No-Source-7974.

They wrote, “There’s two options for your castle’s style in Castles, Redguard and what looks like Breton style. Could this be hinting that ES6 will be set in both Hammerfell and High Rock? Or at the very least be another hint that it will take place in Hammerfell?”

It’s an interesting point as Hammerfell is indeed the leading theory when it comes to The Elder Scrolls VI’s setting.

“Honestly so hyped for a modern Elder Scrolls game set in Hammerfell, if that’s where it’s located, especially with the lore regarding the Empire and the Dominion in Hammerfell,” said Ethereal_Forge.

“Good point. Was wondering why they don’t have any other castle styles,” offered a supportive myonlywishistruelove.

“By itself I wouldn’t think much of this, but I swear there’s been so many little hints like this over the years that I’m convinced that this is no mere coincidence,” added BlackFleetCaptain.

The truth is, this could just be a coincidence but I’m inclined to agree with BlackFeetCaptain.

The signs are all pointing towards Hammerfell. The question is, when will Bethesda reveal all?
