One beloved Star Wars character is making his way to the video game world, allowing players to step into the shoes of the Sith Lord himself.
Airing back in 2024, The Acolyte was yet another Star Wars Disney Plus show that, despite being loved by many, was unceremoniously cancelled after just one season.
Following the story of a former Padawan who teams up with her Jedi Master to investigate a series of crimes, their journey sees them run into the path of one of the original Sith Lords known only as The Stranger.
Played by Manny Jacinto, The Stranger became an instant fan-favourite character which makes it even more of a shame that we will never hear more about his origin story.

Nevertheless, The Stranger is about to make another appearance but this time it will be in the Star Wars mobile game titled Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes.
First released back in 2015 with news of a PC port being in development back in 2024, Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes is a mobile collectible RPG game and now players will be able to add The Stranger to their roster.
This news comes courtesy of publishers EA who revealed The Stranger as the game’s brand-new kit reveal.
With each character coming with their very own skillset, The Stranger has the ability to instantly defeat an opponent, use his Cortosis Armour to stop enemies getting too near, while “Grand Arena Omicrons provide The Stranger and his Acolytes with significant action economy.”

The forum post explains that the scene in The Acolyte when Qimir reveals himself to be The Stranger inspired his inclusion in the game as it was “such a fantastic moment”.
The developers also took inspiration from his cortosis armour by supplying the character with a buff that will dismantle the enemy if they choose to attack him.
Not only that but The Stranger’s dream to recruit an acolyte means that in Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes, he will be able to work alongside other strong characters such as Starkiller, “Barriss Offee, Visas Marr, and [REDACTED]”.
To unlock The Stranger, players must play through Conquest mode and then he will be able to take Emperor Palpatine’s spot in the Starkiller squad.

His full abilities and kit can be found in the EA forum post so if you want an excuse to check out The Acolyte’s star character in a different setting, do not miss out on Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes on mobile.
