Fans of cosy simulation games with a Studio Ghibli aesthetic are in luck as this upcoming release is sure to capture the magic of both.

Are you a fan of Paris, baking and magic?

Then look no further as The Witch’s Bakery is an upcoming cosy adventure RPG set in the heart of Paris.

Check out the trailer for Persona 5 below!

Inspired by Kiki’s Delivery Service, Persona 5 and Paris itself, this brand-new game will see you live a magical life as a witch-baker in the French capital.

Players will be tasked with running their bakery, visiting iconic streets and landmarks and even helping heal people’s hearts with tasty croissants.

With so many incredible inspirations behind it, it is perhaps no surprise that The Witch’s Bakery has already passed its initial funding goal in just two days over on Kickstarter.

The shop-management RPG will see you open up your patisserie and take part in baking mini-games and decorating.

However, when you are not hard at work, you can wander the streets of Paris to see into people’s hearts and heal their emotions through magic.

With a gripping and emotional story, the chance to learn iconic French cuisine and the vibrant streets of Paris to explore, The Witch’s Bakery is guaranteed to capture everybody’s heart.

During the day, Lunne the baker will serve customers alongside her team, while in the evening, she can explore the city, build relationships and discover secrets. At night, she can improve her magic, decorate her bakery and spend time in the cosy atelier.

With the Kickstarter goal reached in just 48 hours, the future is looking bright for this project and we could see it arrive on the Nintendo Switch in no time.

"We don't cover all of Paris in the game of course (that would be crazy!), but there are 15 different levels, featuring recognisable places and monuments, but also lesser-known local gems," the Kickstarter page reads.

"You can learn about the history of each place, meet with a lovable cast of characters, reveal new quests, and participate in a variety of activities."

So if you want to play this magical game, check out its Kickstarter page right now.
