There is no arguing that The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is one of the best open-world RPGs of all time.

Released back in 2011, the Bethesda title is still as loved today as it was back then and because of that, one creator has given us this epic update inspired by Game of Thrones itself.
Skyros is a large-scale Game of Thrones themed mod for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition.
Created by the Skyros Team, it will take place in a “geographically accurate Skyrim-sized map of Westeros and feature all the most prominent characters and locations from the series.”
That means that players will be able to boot up Skyrim and head over to iconic landmarks from the show such as Storm’s End, Winterfell, Casterly Rock, Pyke, Hightower, The Twins, Dragonstone and even head inside the Sept.
Not only that but there will be even more dragons and this time you will be able to channel your inner Targaryen and mount one.
If you’re lucky, you could also find yourself bumping into some familiar faces such as Tyrion Lannister himself.
The developers describe Skyros as “transforming” Skyrim into Game of Thrones and that is definitely the right word to use considering this mod acts like a completely new game.
As a result, fans are eager to share their positive experiences.
