The world of Skyrim holds so many secrets and hidden details, it would be next to impossible to see them all in one playthrough.

Thankfully, Skyrim has a lot of replayability, and it keeps fans coming back for more, giving them chances to see these little details for themselves.

Skyrim is filled with potential to replay the game for years and years.

Often, these secrets are shared via social media or Reddit, where players can swap stories, and highlight must-see places for newer players.

In a handy thread on Reddit, players were sharing their favourite small secrets, and one stood out of the bunch.

Coming from user, KermitTheArgonian, their answer was, “‘Voice of the Sky’ blessing, attained by reading all 10 wayshrine markers on the steps up to High Hrothgar, prevents all animal attacks for 24 hours.”

These markers are found at the ‘Throat of the World’ and can be read in any order, bestowing the blessing on both you and any followers you currently have.

It’s a handy blessing to have, keeping you out of trouble, and avoiding taking damage in hostile wildlife areas.

It’s worth noting that if you attack any animals yourself, you will lose the blessing instantly, though harvesting alchemical ingredients from fish or insects doesn’t count as attacking.

The blessing lasts for 24 hours, and one Redditor notes, “That is 24 real-life hours too.”

This one is definitely worth seeking out if you find yourself running foul of the local fauna, like giant spiders, or hungry wolves.

Voice of the Sky is just one of many secrets within the world, and it’s a powerful one, at that.

Bethesda has become known for cramming as much as possible into its open world maps, pushing players to wander off the beaten path, and read all notes to lead them to secrets and easter eggs.

Keep your eyes peeled on your next playthrough, you never know what you might be missing otherwise.
