We are officially in the era of Unreal Engine 5 horror games and this upcoming psychological, survival title is no exception.

If you are a fan of the horrors of the Resident Evil franchise but crave the exploration and puzzle-solving of Tomb Raider, then Shiver is the one for you.

Check out the original puzzle-solver in the trailer for Tomb Raider IV-VI Remastered below!

Developed by Team Nocebo, Shiver is an upcoming survival horror game where you take on the role of Hannah who is on the search for her missing sister.

However, with a devastating blizzard enveloping the town in a sea of white, you will soon discover that reality is being warped right before your eyes.

If you wish to find your sister, you will have to navigate the snowy hellscape, all whilst defending yourself from the natural and unnatural horrors within.

By solving puzzles, fighting ice-covered nightmares and solving the mystery of the blizzard itself, you will soon find yourself facing a lot more than you bargained for.

Designed using Unreal Engine 5, Shiver will test your very grit as you explore terrifying landscapes, brutal caverns and derelict buildings armed with just a small variety of melee weapons and guns.

Using a third-person, over-the-shoulder view, you are at risk from every angle and nothing is going to stop those ice-like creatures from attacking you on sight.

Luckily for us, Team Nocebo has released a trailer which gives us our first look at the impressive, snowy environment mixed with Hannah’s desperation as she looks for her sister.

Not only that but it seems as though viewers are already impressed.

“This is the best ice and snow I've ever seen in the videogame for my entire life,” KarazP commented.

Another comment read, “Can't wait to see more, now on my wishlist.”

There is not yet a full release date for Shiver but this survival horror is definitely one to keep on your wishlist for the future.
