Red Dead Redemption 3 already has the perfect protagonist set up, and the actor behind them is ready and willing to go.

There are a few people we'd love to see take over for Red Dead Redemption 3. Landon Ricketts or Dutch in a prequel. Charles Smith in a game set after Red Dead Redemption 2.

But one character I keep coming back to is Sadie Adler, played by the brilliant Alex McKenna. Adler ends Red Dead Redemption 2 as a bounty hunter setting off into the world alone. Who wouldn't want to play a game about that?

McKenna has actually made it clear she'd love to take on the lead role in Red Dead Redemption 3, too.

Speaking on Dan Allen Gaming a few years back, McKenna revealed it "would be a dream" to star in the next game.

"I do very much love Sadie Adler. I got to play her for five years so she holds a very specific place in my heart and also, may be the coolest character I've played to date in my career," she said.

Red Dead Redemption 2 have long been very vocal about wanting to see Sadie step into the spotlight, so I'm pretty sure this is exactly the kind of news that would be incredibly welcome outside of that small group of DEI-obsessed weirdos that keep pretending to be annoyed about these things.

It's worth noting of course that Red Dead Redemption 3 hasn't actually been properly confirmed yet outside of some vague statements from Rockstar Games' parent company, but we can be fairly sure the game will arrive one day. Let's just hope when it does we get to see Ms Adler back in the saddle.
