Rockstar’s epic open-world Western, Red Dead Redemption 2, has been out for almost four years and players are still finding new details in the game.

While we wouldn’t go as far as to claim that the work of the developers is the equivalent of the pyramids, it is still incredibly impressive in its detail. A screenshot from RDR2 recently won a photography award at the London Games Festival, over more recent games played on the newest generation of consoles. Less than a month ago many players were surprised when someone shared a clip showing that there are meteor showers in-game. In brief, the game is so overwhelmingly large and impressive that there are still new things being found.

If you are an RDR2 fan check out this compilation of the funniest wins and fails in the video below.

Some things are best left undiscovered however. Reddit users were shocked after user u/EDaggersV posted their discovery in the Red Dead Redemption 2 subreddit. The post shows a screenshot and describes how it annoyed them that protagonist Arthur’s sideburns and beard don’t quite match up.

This mistake wouldn’t always be evident for players. Arthur’s hair and beard grow as the game progresses, and you can also style it in a way that this would be covered if the hair or beard were longer.

Other commenters were disappointed to have this pointed out to them. “I had never noticed it before, thanks for ruining my day” says one commenter, while another jokes “Uninstalling after this... literally unplayable. Do better Rockstar.” Even worse, when one person comments "Grow it back asap and view from the front only. This is the worst spoiler I've ever come across" Daggers comments back "If it makes you feel any better his other side burn and beard connects!"

Now that you’ve seen it the burden has been passed on. You’re welcome.
