If there's one thing that Red Dead Redemption 2 has become known for since releasing in 2018, it's the immense amount of detail that the developer managed to include in the final product that players got their hands on.
Wherever you look in the game’s immense world, there's always something new to discover, even if you feel like you've worked through everything it has to offer over the course of several playthroughs as Arthur Morgan et Al.
As has often been the case in Rockstar releases, the studio also elected to include a ton of mysterious and unusual content designed to titillate players who stumble upon it during their adventures, plenty of which we don't fully understand all these years later.
As proof of that point, another mystery has emerged that players are really struggling to get their heads around, so you could easily be the one to crack the case wide open if you jump in and start working on it now.
Red Dead Redemption 2 Spider Mystery is Baffling Players

Advert
As first reported by Dexerto, the Red Dead Redemption community is coming together to solve a mystery in which spider webs appear along a trail at certain times of the day, which in turn led to the discovery of a secret message.
Starting the trail near Cornwall Kerosene & Tar, which itself features a spider motif, players have been able to track down seven sequential webs which appear sporadically between the hours of 2am and 4am.
Players have been able to work out that some of the webs they have discovered in fact looked like letters, including N and W, but the community likely hasn't discovered all of the webs yet, as they are unable to turn the letters into anything cogent at the time of writing.
One of the interesting locations near the trail is Spider Gorge, which has been connected to the conundrum for obvious reasons, but what exactly its role is remains unclear at the moment.
As many of you likely saw with the Mount Chiliad mystery, these inclusions often run very deep and we might not be looking at a full solution for many more years to come yet.
That said, we're absolutely hoping that they managed to get the job done before the release of GTA VI when many of the community who are working on it or likely head over there to discover what the wonders of Vice City have to offer.
