Time for an Elvis cosplay

It is time to start brewing that moonshine as this brand-new Red Dead Redemption 2 event will reward players with some useful items and cosmetics throughout March.

Red Dead Redemption 2s online mode is hosting a brand-new event ahead of St. Patrick’s Day and as you can probably guess, it is all centered around alcohol, or more specifically, moonshine.

Check out the trailer for Red Dead Online below!

“The law is desperate to lock down the transport of illicit swill that’s moving around the West’s margins,” the official blog post reads.

“As St. Patrick’s Day draws near and barrooms swell with crowds of thirsty customers, it’ll take brave souls and steady hands to fight off Revenue Agents and safely deliver your high-proof payload.

Having backup from members of your Persistent Posse will come in handy.”

Throughout March, Red Dead Online players can take part in a series of challenges and events in order to earn some limited-edition items and cosmetics.

Starting yesterday, 5 March, players can earn “3X Rewards on Moonshiner Story Missions, 2X RDO$ and Role XP on Moonshiner Sales, XP Boosts for Posses, and more.”

Across March, players who log into Red Dead Online will receive the white and brown Leavitt Jacket, Elk Photograph, and Naturalist Photograph which can be used to decorate their Moonshine Shack Bar.

Additionally, there are weekly rewards to earn and this week, running from 4 March to 10, completing the “Blood is Thicker than ‘Shine” Moonshiner story mission will see players unlock the blue Salter shoes.

Perfect for those who want to cosplay Elvis in the Blue Suede Shoes music video, this cosmetic will head straight to your wardrobe but make sure you complete the mission before the incentive ends.

Challenges run all the way up to 31 March so if you are on the lookout for some limited-edition cosmetics, make sure you take part in Red Dead Online’s St. Patrick Day’s inspired event.
