Red Dead Online’s Moonshiners event is still underway and for this week only, players who wish to contribute could see themselves earn a limited-edition item.
Red Dead Redemption 2 may not be receiving any new content anytime soon but Rockstar is still on top of updating its online component and this month, it is hosting its Moonshiners event.

That means that Red Dead Online players will be able to log on and earn “3X Rewards on Moonshiner Story Missions, 2X RDO$ and Role XP on Moonshiner Sales, XP Boosts for Posses, and More” for a limited time.
“The law is desperate to lock down the transport of illicit swill that’s moving around the West’s margins,” the official blog post reads.

“As St. Patrick’s Day draws near and barrooms swell with crowds of thirsty customers, it’ll take brave souls and steady hands to fight off Revenue Agents and safely deliver your high-proof payload. Having backup from members of your Persistent Posse will come in handy.”
Each week throughout the event, players can grab a series of rewards which can include everything from in-game currency to limited-time cosmetics and it is the latter that is up for grabs this time.
Running from 11 March to 17, completing an activity with a Persistent Posse will see players receive the red Prieto Poncho.
This is the second limited-time cosmetic available during this event and there are still two more up for grabs, ending on 31 March.

Additionally, you can grab yourself the white and brown Leavitt Jacket just by logging in throughout the event, and Moonshiners who do the same will earn the Dawn Elk Photograph and Naturalist Photograph which they can use to decorate their Moonshine Shack Bar.
The following rewards can also be earned:
- ‘Wet Your Whistle’ Emote - earned by being Rank 15 or above in the Moonshiners career
- ‘Coin Bite’ Emote - earned by successfully completing a Moonshiner sale
- White Patterned Bandana - earned by completing 3 Role Challenges
- High Velocity Pistol Ammo and a Potent Miracle Tonic - earned by completing any 3 Daily Challenges
