As one of the best RPGs of all time, Red Dead Redemption 2 is full to the brim with incredible storytelling, immersive lore, and a whole lot of secrets.

It is the latter that we will be exploring today as one Youtube creator has drawn our attention to a dark secret hidden within one area of Red Dead Redemption 2.

One of the best parts of Red Dead Redemption 2 is getting to experience Rockstar Game’s attention to detail.

Just heading off the beaten track for a few moments can present Arthur with so many amazing opportunities that would have otherwise been missed and that is definitely the case for Caliga Hall.

The residence and tobacco plantation owned by the Gray family is located on the western edge of the Bayou Nwa and it is here that players can uncover a dark secret that can easily be missed.

The Youtuber ArdeeArtoo has put together a Short which details all of the different ways you can approach this discovery.

Basically, players will need to choose whether or not they want to lose honour as the area which features the secret is heavily guarded.

As a result, they can either go in all guns blazing and lose a lot of honour or they can sneak in at night and hope for the best.

Either way, they are heading to a porch that contains the body of a Gray family member and they are sitting next to an interesting letter.

It is here that we discover that this character, Tavish Gray, has taken his own life and left a letter detailing why.

This will become a Point of Interest in Red Dead Redemption 2, causing Arthur to sketch about it in his journal and make a comment of his own.

Although players will head to Caliga Hall throughout the game, this collectible is still easy to miss and if you want to fill Arthur’s journal as much as possible, you will need to make this stop.
