Red Dead Redemption 2 has an actual vampire hiding in the game

Red Dead Redemption 2, a game known for its secrets and hidden gems, is hiding a vampire in plain sight - and you can visit them right now.

Let’s be honest with each other, vampires are cool and often very sexy. If you ask yourself, “Would I like to be a vampire?” and you answer “no”, then you’re probably lying to yourself. Vampires just make everything better and Rockstar Games knew this when developing Red Dead Redemption 2 because they hid one away in Saint Denis.

Red Dead Redemption 2 is well-known for its devious secrets.

You probably want to know how to find them, right? Well, it takes a bit of trekking around and you’ll need to find graffiti in several spots across town. I wasn’t aware that vampires were partial to street art, but seeing as their lives are lived against the law, it would make sense. Anyway, you’ll find the first scrawling across the road from the large saloon in the northeast of the city of Saint Denis.

Once you have found this first piece of the puzzle you’ll have to follow the path set out in each message, but to save you time, just follow our mini guide:

  • To the right of an archway that says ‘Saint Denis Market Open Daily’.
  • Behind the gunsmith, round the back and through the gates.
  • South of the gunsmith, through an arch, turn left and look under the stairs. This is near Liu Hsiang Electric Work.
  • Lastly, behind the general store on the eastern side of town facing the river.

Once you have followed these directions, a black ‘X’ will appear on your map. You can only visit this location in the dead of night and you’ll finally meet the vampire. Let’s not go any further for fear of spoilers but you’ll find it a satisfying conclusion to your little treasure hunt and you’ll have seen a great secret that many miss.
