Pro Gamer Kim "Alarm" Kyeong-Bo Dead At 20

Tragic news

Overwatch League pro Kim ‘Alarm’ Kyeong-Bo has passed away. The tragic news was confirmed last night in an official statement shared by his team, Philadelphia Fusion. He was just 20 years old. 

"We are devastated and heartbroken to hear about Kim ‘Alarm’ Kyeong-Bo's passing," Fusion wrote on Twitter. "Alarm was the heart and soul of our organization, and our thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends as we mourn this tragic loss. The Kim family and Fusion ask for privacy during this incredibly difficult time."

The exact details of Kyeong-Bo’s passing have yet to be shared with the public. However, we do know the pro was in his homeland of South Korea during the league’s offseason.

Kyeong-Bo was an incredibly talented and well-liked presence in the Overwatch League with a promising future. In 2020, he picked up Rookie Of The Year and Support Role Star awards, and was largely to considered to be one of the best support players in the world.

The Overwatch League community have flooded social media with tributes to Kyeong-Bo, along with messages of support to his family.

"This is devastating news, and he will be sorely missed," the San Francisco Shock posted on Twitter. "Our deepest condolences to his family, friends, and teams. We are sending our love and support in this time of mourning. Rest in peace, Alarm."
