It’s been a whopper of a month for PlayStation Plus extra and premium tier subscribers. To celebrate one year of the relaunched service, an incredible 28 games were added to the extra and premium catalogues this month.

Extra subscribers can grab Far Cry 6, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge, Rogue Legacy 2, Inscryption, Soulstice, Tacoma, Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, Killing Floor 2, Lonely Mountains: Downhill, Vampire: The Masquerade – Coteries of New York, Hundred Days: Winemaking Simulator, A Hat in Time, Carto, Forager, Dodgeball Academia, Redout 2, Thief, MX vs ATV Legends, PAW Patrol Mighty Pups: Save Adventure Bay!, My Friend Peppa Pig, DC League of Super-Pets: The Adventures of Krypto and Ace, The Talos Principle: Deluxe Edition, Elex 2, and The Wild at Heart.

Meanwhile, premium subscribers can enjoy Killzone: Liberation (PSP), Worms (PS1), Herc’s Adventures (PS1), and Coded Soul (PSP). It can be hard to know where to start with that many new additions on offer, but fans are saying that Inscryption is a must play.

The delightful Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart is available on the extra tier too.

Originally released in 2021, Inscryption is a roguelike deck-building game. It kicks off when the player awakens in a cabin, forced to play a game with a mysterious shadowy figure holding you captive. That game just so happens to be titled Inscryption. As the game unfolds, so too do the secrets relating to your circumstances. It may be a deck-building game, but there are certainly psychological horror and escape room elements too.

Over on Metacritic, the game has an impressive PS5 score of 87, with a user score of 8.5 Over on Reddit, many recommended the game. MojoPinnacle wrote, “Inscryption is a must play, even if you don’t like card games,” while iludear added, “I cannot recommend Inscryption enough. I usually play completely different genres but please, play this.”

User zmatt123 added, “I’m in the same boat. I’d never played a game like it and probably never will again, but I loved it.” Consider me convinced.
