A beloved indie title is leaving the service

PlayStation Plus users should probably be aware that they have one last chance to say goodbye to one of the most underrated games on the service.

A popular indie game that received heavy critical acclaim at launch is leaving PlayStation Plus later this month, so people should attempt to play it as soon as possible.

Slime Rancher is being removed from PS Plus Extra on June 18, so in just over two weeks time. The game was originally released in 2017, and has since received an early-access sequel and confirmation of an upcoming movie adaptation, the latter of which still baffles us.

This is just one of several games that are leaving the service, however, with 14 games leaving PS Plus on the same day. Those games can be seen below!

  • Baja: Edge of Control HD
  • Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons
  • DC League of Super-Pets: The Adventures of Krypto and Ace
  • Dodgeball Academia
  • Grand Theft Auto V
  • Indivisible
  • Monster Jam: Steel Titans
  • MotoGP 23
  • Slime Rancher
  • SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom - Rehydrated
  • The Talos Principle: Deluxe Edition
  • The Wild at Heart
  • Unturned

Several of these games are being replaced however, with Grand Theft Auto V specifically being replaced by another game from developer Rockstar Games, Red Dead Redemption 2. The other titles are still available until the 18 June, though, so if there's any in this list that players desperately want to play then they've got just over two weeks before they lose their chance to do so, unless they decide to purchase the game fully. With the yearly Days of Play event currently underway, which allows for savings on dozens of games, it's likely that some of these are currently available at a discount.
