Xbox gamers surprised with bonus free download

Some bonus content for your game

Every once in a while, you can grab yourself some freebies from the folks at Xbox, and this week there’s a gem available.

Players of UFC 5, can snag themselves a tasty DLC bonus for free with Xbox Game Pass.

UFC 5 is the latest MMA fighter from EA.

The DLC in question is the Bruce Lee Bundle that opens up the opportunity to take the legendary martial artist into the Octagon for MMA combat.

I’m going to be honest, it has been years since I last watched MMA or touched a UFC game, so I can’t comment on the quality of this latest release.

The idea of Bruce Lee stepping into the cage feels over the top ridiculous, but in the best way.

According to the store page, “The father of mixed martial arts is back. Fight with brand-new Bruce Lee Alter Egos across the Bantamweight, Featherweight, Lightweight and Welterweight classes.”

You will, of course, need a copy of the full base game, and the offer is only open to Xbox Game Pass subscribers.

If the game has been on your radar for a while and you haven’t made a purchase, you’ll find the game is currently half price on the Xbox store.

And that’s about all I know about this game and the DLC on offer.

So, for the next third of this article, I’ll tell you that my favourite Bruce Lee film is Game of Death, though I definitely have a lot of love for Enter the Dragon.

Perhaps because Game of Death was the first I saw, it left quite an impression on me and sparked a deep passion for martial arts films.

I’m going to have to revisit his whole catalogue and make my way through them again, it’s been years since I saw most of them on VHS, and it’ll be great to watch them in HD.
