Itās hard to believe itās taken this long but finally, Xbox users can enjoy the behemoth that is Genshin Impact.
Genshinās gacha mechanics arenāt going to be to everybodyās tastes, but thereās plenty to love in this free open-world RPG.
I wonder if HoYoverse had an inkling of just how enormous of a playerbase the game would gather back when they launched Genshin Impact on PlayStation 4, Windows, and mobile in 2020.
That was followed by a port to the PlayStation 5 in 2021, but itās taken an additional three years for the game to finally land on Xbox.

As of today, Wednesday 20 November, Xbox users can download Genshin Impact on both the Series X and Series S.
Take a look at Genshin Impact in action below.
If youāve been living under a rock and donāt know what the game is, allow me to fill you in.
Genshin Impact transports you to the world of Teyvat, a realm thatās full of elemental energy and consists of seven nations.
Each nation is tied to one of the elements and is ruled over by an archon, a god of sorts.
Youāll travel to Teyvat with your sibling from another world, but soon become separated.
Essentially, you'll set out on a journey to find your sibling but, of course, there are plenty of trials thatāll occupy your attention along the way.
As I said, gacha mechanics are involved which determine which characters you unlock - although some are unlocked naturally in-game.
If you want to throw money at Genshin Impact, it certainly permits - and Iād even say encourages - it, but it is possible to enjoy the game with no spends if youāre patient enough.
The only warning Iāll administer is that the game boasts a chunky file so youāll need around 100GB of space.
If youāre also a Call of Duty and Fortnite player, I can hear your SSD drive weeping.
Itās to be expected though when Genshin Impact has received four years of updates and support.
Well, better late than never, they say. Dive in now.
