In an attempt to allow its playerbase to play Xbox titles whenever and wherever, Microsoft has just announced a brand-new upgrade.

Going live earlier this week, Xbox Insiders now have the ability to stream and play Xbox Game Pass titles across more devices.

Announced on the official Xbox blog, the post reads as follows:

“We’re always exploring more ways to make your Xbox experience centered around you – your content, benefits, and playstyle.

That’s why we’re making it easier to enjoy the games you love, wherever you are, and on any device. Starting today, Xbox Insiders are invited to try out new updates in Xbox Game Pass that make it easier to stream and play across more devices.”

So what is Xbox Insiders?

This is a programme which allows Xbox users to gain access to brand-new Xbox features ahead of everybody else in an effort to test them out and supply feedback.

In this instance, Xbox Insiders who are subscribed to Xbox Game Pass Core or Standard can now explore the Xbox Cloud Gaming Beta.

This will allow them to stream Xbox Cloud games included in their subscription on any device.

To do so, you will have to sign into Xbox Cloud Gaming on your chosen and supported device and simply head to the Home Screen where you can browse your list of eligible games.

Of course, upgrading your Xbox Game Pass subscription to Ultimate will gain you access to even more titles but this is not necessary to try out this new feature.

That’s not all!

Xbox Insiders subscribed to Xbox Game Pass Core or Standard will now be able to gain access to PC versions of select titles for the first time.

“Whether you’re gaming on console, PC, or streaming via supported cloud devices, this update broadens your library and makes it easier to jump into your favorite games across more screens,” the blog post continues.

As with many Xbox Insiders features, they will gradually be rolled out to every Xbox user over time but if you want to try them out in advance, make sure you sign up to the programme.
