If you’re looking for an RPG to sink your teeth into, then look no further than this Xbox Game Pass offering that can offer up to 99 hours of gameplay, or perhaps beyond that.
Microsoft’s Xbox Game Pass is packed full of fantastic games that we can play in an instant, whether it’s a AAA big hitter, an indie darling, or a beloved retro classic of yesteryear. What’s more, if you subscribe to the Ultimate tier, then you’ll have even more games at your disposal.
That being said, just like when we often discover when browsing through other entertainment services such as Netflix, Xbox Game Pass sometimes feels like there’s too much choice, which results in a never-ending doom scroll. Thankfully, at least, we have the video game community to recommend some fantastic games that may have flown under our radar.
“If you haven't played Abyssus, you're definitely missing out. In-depth gameplay, nice levelling system, and it's a really chill game to play with friends,” recommended Redditor PrestigiousWeakness2.

“This is all I’ve been playing. It reminds me a lot of Remnant: From the Ashes,” said Reddit user Juicemania50.
“It's good and one of the rare FPS roguelite games we get on console,” added mngtrd.
“When I first played it, I felt it was one of those low-quality games, meaning a bad game, but after a while, I really liked it. Its style is like playing DOOM, but with the ability to play online with the atmosphere of BioShock,” explained AL-SHEDFI.
In terms of reviews, Abyssus has been rated as ‘Very Positive’ on the PC platform Steam, though it has recently dropped to “Mixed”, which may be worth keeping in mind. As for the aggregate website Metacritic, it's earned a somewhat decent 71 score.
As for completion length, according to How Long to Beat, Abyssus is a mixed bag, depending on what type of gamer you are. For a straight completion, it can take between four and nine hours. 21 hours with the side-quests or, on average, 99 hours for completists.
As of right now, Abyssus is available on Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, PC Game Pass, and Xbox Game Pass Premium. It’s not included in the Essential tier.
Abyssus is playable on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S. It also has full crossplay support.
