Xbox gamers warned they've days left to grab gorgeous release for free

Players don't have much time

Xbox Game Pass users only have a few more days to access one of Capcom’s hidden gems, and a very underrated game, for free, as part of the subscription.

Games come and go on Xbox Game Pass every month, and it’s always a shame to see something leave when you’ve had it on your list for a while.

Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess was released last year by Capcom, and it became somewhat of a sleeper hit, arriving to warm reviews and positive reactions from the community.

It recently got a new lease of life with its launch for Nintendo Switch 2, and people began talking about what an underrated gem it is.

Scoring an 80 out of 100 over on Metacritic, it shows the game is a banger that you likely missed.

So, it’s sad to know that Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess will be leaving the Xbox subscription, leaving many without a chance to try it out.

However, it’s not leaving for a few more days, which at least gives you time to try it, even if you can’t complete it.

Whether the Capcom hit returns in the future, is hard to say, but if you’ve been interested in this action-strategy game in the past, now’s your time to play.

Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess is visually gorgeous, and features a lovely mix of action-packed moments alongside some tactical thinking.

It not only marked a new path for Capcom, but also a high point in the two genres that came together here.

This game leaves the Xbox Game Pass service on 31 July, and at the same time, subscribers will lose the opportunity to buy the game with a 20 percent discount.

At least this means you can play for a few hours to see if you enjoy it, then buy the game at a lower price before it vanishes.
