First arriving as an open-beta back in 2023 on both PC and Nintendo Switch, this delightful MMO is now heading to console and better yet, it is completely free. No catch.

It is Palia, developed by Singularity 6 Corporation and described as “a free-to-play fantasy life sim adventure where you can craft, explore, and create the life and home of your dreams.”

As mentioned, Palia has been available on PC and Nintendo Switch for the past two years and during that time, it has managed to hit a ‘very positive’ rating on Steam with fans praising its fun and relaxing atmosphere as well as comparing it to a “3D Stardew Valley”.
Now Palia is finally making its way to the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S and this massive open-world title is free to get stuck into right now.
Not only that but its arrival on console also comes alongside its new Elderwood expansion which will also be free for all players.
As Palia’s first expansion, Elderwood will see you discover the ancient overgrown forest to solve the magical mystery, unearth artefacts, discover relics and ultimately, transform your home with your findings.

Not only that but you will also be able to embark on this new adventure with friends in this “vibrant, heartwarming world”.
As you complete quests throughout Palia, you will be able to reveal the secrets of the Ancient Humans, as well as deepen your connections with your villagers.
When you are not out exploring, you can design your own space, both inside and out, and much like in Animal Crossing: New Horizons, you will be able to share your homes with other players.
With events and minigames to play, relationships to build, and enchanted magic to learn, Palia is perfect for all the cosy fans out there.
