Free Xbox Game Pass and $100 credit available now, if you're quick

If you’re on the lookout for a new phone, you might want to look into the Google Pixel 8a as you could also bag yourself a $100 Amazon or Best Buy gift card plus one-month of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate for free.

It’s no secret that we live in a rather expensive society. With prices for many items at an all-time high, it’s important to look out for good deals and freebies where you can.

Two have just popped up following the reveal of Google’s Pixel 8a phone, with both Amazon and Best Buy trying to lure in buyers in the US.

If you order the phone from Amazon for $499, you’ll bag a $100 Amazon gift card. If you opt for the $499 Best Buy deal, you’ll get a $100 Best Buy gift card and one-month of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, so it’s arguably the better of the two deals.

Both deals include the 128GB model of the phone, and they’ll ship on 14 May - the same as if you’d purchased it from Google’s own store which is, at the time of writing, offering no pre-order incentives.

As for what the Pixel 8a actually consists of, it boasts a Google Tensor G3 chip in addition to many of the features you’ll find in the existing 8 and 8 Pro models like Gemini, Best Take, and Audio Magic Eraser.

The new rounded look is designed to “handle slips, spills and dust” making it the most durable A-series phone to date. The Actua display is 40% brighter than the Pixel 7a’s and there’s a faster 120Hz refresh rate.

The aforementioned offers include the new hues, Aloe and Bay, in addition to old favourites like Obsidian and Porcelain.

All in all, it sounds like a great all rounder - made even better by these fantastic limited time offers.
