A teaser regarding both The Elder Scrolls VI and Fallout 5 has the fandom hyped again.

We’re gluttons for punishment, it would seem.

Despite us being here numerous times before, begging Bethesda to give us more information about The Elder Scrolls VI, and the next Fallout instalment, we can’t help but do it all over again.

The desire to know any details, however minute, is too great for us to ignore.

A new adventure awaits in Fallout 76: Milepost Zero

It’s gotten to the point that Fallout fans are marking their calendars, counting down the days until 2026 when a new chapter in the franchise launches.

That’s how desperate we are to know about the next game.

Of course, for The Elder Scrolls community, learning anything about The Elder Scrolls VI feels like an even greater mission, one fraught with disappointment.

This quiet teaser we’re about to share with you isn’t going to suddenly magic away the long wait times we have ahead of us, however, it will give you hope that Bethesda is busy working on these next adventures.

During an interview with YouTuber MrMattyPlays, Todd Howard spoke about both franchises and their future.

In reference to Fallout, Howard said, “I agree with the statement that Fallout has never been more popular. Clearly, it is. And people are hungry for even more.”

“We’ve never stopped doing Fallout work. A lot of that work goes on in Fallout 76 [...] so [we’re] really excited with where that game is at,” he added.

But this wasn’t the only update/teaser he offered over the course of their conversation.

Although Howard kept his cards close to the chest, as one would expect of a developer trying to keep the mystic of such projects alive, he did offer an update of sorts.

“Obviously I can’t talk about those right now, but I would say […] we don’t feel that we need to rush any of that. [I] totally get the desire for a new mainline single-player game, and those things take time. I don’t think it’s bad for people to miss things. We just want to get it right,” he shared.

Similar to previous teasers, this gives us next to nothing to work with in regard to better understanding what both new games will include.

Yet, it’s wonderful to see Howard “so chill” about Bethesda’s future plans.
