Steam users are praising a free game that you can download and play today. Oh, and it’s been reviewed very favourably by the community.

Whether we play on PC, PlayStation, Xbox or Nintendo, it’s a satisfying feeling when we’ve spent our money on a game that ends up being a delight.

After all, we’ve all spent money on a game that fell way below our expectations. When that happens, it’s frustrating, to say the least.

When it comes to checking out a free game, other than losing time playing it, if it ends up being a disappointment, at least there’s nothing else to lose.

One freebie that hopefully will not disappoint is the indie game available now on Steam called Once Upon a Galaxy, developed and published by Million Dreams Games.

What’s more, this isn't a trial or a demo, but is in fact a full game. That being said, judging by some user reviews, you will have to pay extra for some additional hero characters.

“Once Upon a Galaxy is an easy to learn Card Battler with incredible strategic depth and near infinite fun! Which of your favourite characters from myth and fairy tale will you choose?” reads the description of the game on Steam.

At the time of writing, Once Upon a Galaxy has a “Very Positive” rating.

“I love the animations in this game because they go really well with the style and the artwork. The gameplay is also well-suited and balanced,” wrote Steam user Emeky.

“This game is a very fun go-at-your-own pace card battler, and the art on the cards is also very good. This is a fun strategic card battler for adults and kids that I very much recommend for everybody,” explained rcgoerig.

“It’s a very good game. I played it on mobile originally, but it translates perfectly to PC. Would recommend,” said Dandoughnuts.

Once Upon a Galaxy is available as a free-to-play title on PC via Steam, as well as compatible iOS and Android devices.
