Steam free store credit available now, you'll have to be fast though

Time to test your luck

The weekend is fast approaching and that means that it is time to sit back and relax with your current game.

However, if you are anything like me, then you will already be eyeing up your next purchase and luckily, Steam has made that even easier to facilitate for PC gamers.

That is because thanks to the Free Steam Games Twitter account, Steam users can enter a limited-time giveaway which could see them win a $5 gift card.

That may not seem like much but considering that Steam is constantly hosting discounted games, it is no doubt that you will be able to snag a deal with an extra $5 off.

For example, Steam is currently hosting its Zombies vs Vampires Fest which can see PC gamers grab discounts, demos, and more until 2 June.

So if you happen to win the giveaway, this will be the perfect place to look for an epic deal with your gift card.

Now back to the giveaway.

Those interested will need to repost and like the original Tweet as well as doing the same for the hosts of the giveaway.

Once that is done, you have until 30 May to find out if you are the lucky winner and so you have just 24 hours left to enter this giveaway.

So which games could you grab for next to nothing?

There is The Walking Dead which is currently available for a mere £1.27 so you will end up with quite a bit of change.

If you are in the mood for an indie game, Vampire Therapist is available at £8.31 and a £5 discount will make quite the difference for this dark comedy visual novel.

Another example is the co-op shooter Back 4 Blood which can be grabbed for £4.99 in the current Steam sale.

Good luck!
