Steam Free Store Credit Up For Grabs, But You'll Have To Be Fast

You can claim free Steam credit, but you need to act fast to avoid the disappointment of missing out.

It’s always nice when we get our hands on a free game; after all, it’s important to save money when we can, because our beloved video game hobby is not cheap.

Subscription services such as PlayStation Plus and Xbox Game Pass are fantastic money-savers. For the price of just a single month, it can be a lot cheaper than a newly released AAA game, potentially granting access to hundreds of games at no extra cost.

What’s more, you can’t go much wrong with a free playable demo, especially if it's for an upcoming new release. Despite only offering a snippet of a game, demos are the best way to find out whether it’s worth parting with our hard-earned cash, and thus, save us some money in its own way.

However, if we can claim free store credit, we can buy whatever we want without worrying too much about the cost, whether it covers the full price or only leaves us with a small portion to pay. Either way, we’re not complaining.

With that in mind, the Twitter account ‘Free Steam Games’ is currently running a promotion in collaboration with ‘PlayQuest’, where you can claim one of a hundred $10 digital gift cards to spend on the PC digital store, Steam.

The Steam store is packed with thousands of games to choose from, as well as tons of DLC. Furthermore, the digital store is always having promotions that can offer big discounts on content. So you can make double savings with a discount, and if you win a gift card.

To be in with a chance of winning a $10 digital Steam gift card, all you have to do is follow ‘PlayQuest’ on Twitter, as well as liking and retweeting the post by ‘Free Steam Games’.

“Good luck, everyone,” said gfx_walker17677.

“Let's do this!” declared JonatanMUnited

“Done!” revealed biasornotis4.

It’s worth keeping in mind that your chances of winning will be slim, but if you don't enter, you’ll have no chance whatsoever. The competition ends tomorrow on 24 September 2025, so throw your name into the proverbial hat before it’s too late. This competition is also a US exclusive, with it being the US dollar, and whatnot. Unless, of course, you have an additional US Steam account for whatever reason.
