Quickly, you’re running out of time.
Developer Ars Goetia is currently giving away a free game which you can secure for your own personal library over on Steam.
It’s that simple; no strings attached, other than the fact that you only have a few hours left to do so.

Hellslave is the game in question, a dark fantasy dungeon crawler where players “make a pact with the Devil to fight back a demon invasion”.
“The apocalypse is here, and humanity stands on the edge of extinction,” the synopsis begins.
“In Hellslave, the only way to stop the demon horde is by making a pact with the Devil and choosing which of the six demons to worship. Will you embrace the power of darkness to save the world, or will it consume you?”
Hellslave will task you with facing off against a variety of foes, from zombies to ghosts, with “monstrous bosses” also surfacing from time to time.

However, a skill tree will allow you to unlock new demonic powers to take on those foes, resulting in a ton of devastating combos.
The game features stunning hand-crafted visuals, both across its map and combat encounters, as well as its “atmospheric cutscenes”.
As a welcomed added bonus, Hellslave also includes a New Game Plus mode, so if you enjoy what you play, you can do it all over again with different starting demons and perhaps even increased difficulty.
Typically, Hellslave would set you back £15.49 but as I said, it’s currently being given away for free via Steam.

That offer runs out at 6pm BST today on 16 June. That means you have less than six hours to redeem this one at the time of writing.
It’s the perfect time to give Hellslave a go, as a sequel is on the way.
Hellslave II: Judgement of the Archon lacks a release date, for now, but we know that it’s targeting a 2026 launch.
As for the original title though, go grab that free copy before it’s too late.
