As a gamer, there are not many better feelings than claiming a quality game for free, such as this Steam title, but you need to act fast.

Well, perhaps the feeling of finally defeating that epic Bloodborne boss might top some free games, but you know what I mean. With that in mind, you can claim this free game on Steam today but you better claim it ASAP to avoid missing out.

If the fact that this Steam game is 100% free isn't enough to tempt you, then its title should be enough for you to claim it within the next 48 hours, instead of its usual low price of £4.29.

“Join Hank and Larry, two small defenceless animals, as they manipulate their way through the zombie apocalypse,” reads the description of the game. “Meet various characters and get them to scavenge for you while guiding them to ‘safety.’ Make life-or-death decisions, bargain, manage inventory, trade, and gamble.”

Released in 2018, the quite brilliantly named Scheming Through The Zombie Apocalypse: The Beginning is developed by the indie team at Entertainment Forge and is published by GrabTheGames.

With just under 500 Steam user reviews at the time of writing, Scheming Through The Zombie Apocalypse: The Beginning has a rating of “Very Positive” on the digital store.

“This game is hilarious, and I realised I'm a very horrible person who makes questionable decisions... Just like in real Life!! Ha ha ha,” exclaimed terrible_criss. “Whoever wrote this game, is a genius.”

“Great art style, funny writing, interesting story. Two hours of gameplay and choices matter,” said Krupnozadi.

“Surprisingly entertaining and fun. It's free right now, so might as well grab it and give it a try,” recommended Hydé.

Scheming Through The Zombie Apocalypse: The Beginning is only available for free until 18 March 2025 on PC.
