Steam free download is Uncharted meets Tomb Raider

When it comes to memorable adventures, it doesn't get more epic than the globetrotting shenanigans of Lara Croft of Tomb Raider and Nathan Drake of Uncharted. While both franchises are inspired by the Indiana Jones movies, they are both pioneers in the video game industry.

However, while we wait for the new Tomb Raider game powered by Unreal Engine 5 or the Uncharted game that may never arrive on PlayStation 5, we at least have the promising Amerzone - The Explorer’s Legacy on our radar.

Before we proceed, we at least know that we’re getting a new Tomb Raider game but during our interview with the showrunner of the Netflix animated series, it was perhaps hinted that we’ll have a new voice of Lara Croft in the video game franchise.

Anyway, let’s get back to the topic of today’s article, the aforementioned Amerzone - The Explorer's Legacy. Unlike Tomb Raider and Uncharted, Amerzone - The Explorer's Legacy is a first-person game and you can play its demo for free via the Steam store right now.

“Set off on a quest for the Great White Birds in a mysterious land full of secrets!” reads the description of the game. “Answer the call of exploration as you travel to Amerzone, a forgotten Latin American country, to fulfil the last wishes of a late explorer.”

Fun fact, Amerzone - The Explorer’s Legacy developed and published by Microids, is a remake of a game that was originally released in 1999 for PC and PlayStation.

Amerzone - The Explorer’s Legacy does not have a release date at the time of writing, but it is currently scheduled to be released this year on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
