Stardew Valley fans need to make sure they keep their eyes on this upcoming Steam title because it looks like the cosy distraction we desperately need.
Few cosy games have reached the heights of Stardew Valley, which often means gamers are left struggling to find a new wholesome adventure to get stuck into.
We can’t guarantee that Hope’s Farm 2 will make all your cosy dreams come true, however, it looks like it’ll keep you busy tending to the land and your adorable farm animals.

The first game, while not a massive hit, has fairly positive reviews from those who’ve joined Hope as she lives out a fantasy so many of us seem to share.

Still, while we don’t have any specific date just yet, there’s a free Steam demo download available that’ll give you your first proper glimpse of life on Hope’s farm.
The premise of the game is simple: “Step into the world of Hope's Farm 2, where farming meets puzzle-solving! Help Hope and Noah transform a simple farmland into a thriving paradise.”
This title comes from Green Sauce Games, an indie dev that has several other titles also available on Steam, most of which are compatible with Macs as well as PC.
Unfortunately, at this moment in time, it seems that Hope’s Farm 2 will only work with PCs, though that may be subject to change nearer its release.

As for whether it plays well on the Steam Deck, you’d have to try it for yourselves to know for certain. At least its demo is free should you find it isn’t compatible.
Promising to deliver a “unique blend of gameplay”, there’s more to do than planting crops on Hope’s farm.
The farm of your dreams is in sight, you just need to take that first step and check out its demo.
