If you’re after four free Steam games that you can download and play today, then you’re in the right place.

As we approach the halfway point of a month, when our wages begin to run dry, it can be especially difficult to partake in our beloved hobby of playing video games. Heck, sometimes it’s difficult picking up games on payday!

Subscription services such as PlayStation Plus and Xbox Game Pass can be great ways to save money. Yet, with the prices of those services continually going up, even those aren't always a viable option.

Nonetheless, even when subscribed to a top-tier of either PlayStation Plus or Xbox Game Pass, it’s cheaper than a newly released AAA game. Plus, you also get tons more games, free DLC and whatnot. However, I still hate price hikes.

Anywho, if you were on the lookout for some free Steam games that you can download and play today on PC, then we have four titles that might be worth checking out to help pass some time.

As brought to our attention by the Twitter account ‘Free Steam Games’, here are four games that you can download right now, no questions asked:

  • Work Inc: “Brace yourselves for Corporate Calamity in Work Inc, a first-person arena shooter with a conglomerate twist! Arm yourself with staplers and sharpeners to bash and shoot your way through the hordes of employees like your life (and your job) depend on it.”
  • The Asterion: “Is a rogue-like action-adventure set in the mythological Labyrinth of Knossos. Play as Theseus, guided by Ariadne, and explore a shifting maze full of traps, spirits, and forgotten secrets.”
  • District Zero: “Is a horror FPS game, in which you shoot your way through aliens that have taken over your spaceship, in you must escape. Keep yourself alive for long enough, and you might just escape the aliens' clutches through the escape pod.”
  • Eidolon: Fate of Fools: “An arena shooter with a card game twist in which combatants compete using Major Arcana tarot cards. Celestials manifest in a metaphysical realm for a combat ritual that results in divinity... or death. Vanquish your foes to achieve apotheosis and the coveted prize of securing your fate.”

So, there you have it. Hopefully, you’ll find some enjoyment with at least one of the free PC games mentioned above. Oh, and be sure to give ‘Free Steam Games’ a follow on Twitter, because it’s a fantastic account to keep track of.
