Steam are currently offering six games for you to download and play, for free. That's right, six games for a grand total of no money. All you need is a Steam account and you can claim these titles.

Each game is from 2023 and vary across genres, so you've got a bit of everything here.

Steam are currently learning about the games on offer to see if they're compatible with Steam Deck

The games on offer are:

Planet S, which is a real-time strategy where you're able to colonise multiple planets in a solar system and grow a faction. There are various ways to win the game that each take a different line of thinking.

Retro Combat is a very lo-fi and low polygon FPS where the visuals are super basic, but the gameplay is tight and fast-paced.

Grill on Wheels is an Early Access VR title where you serve customers from a food truck. There are numerous recipes with plenty of ingredients to keep things fresh. With a few trucks to buy and different appliances to kit out your food truck, there is some planning and simulation here too.

StrangerZ is a multiplayer survival horror game where you can work with friends or go it alone in a fight to survive.

Destiny's Divide will have you facing off against other players in a hardcore PvP fantasy card game. With several heroes to play as and plenty of skills and tactics to learn, you could be investing a whole lot of time here.

Culture Wars: Time's Up Karen is a top-down shooter set in a world not unlike ours where social media has rotted many minds, turning them into insufferable versions of themselves. It's up to Chad to take out these social stereotypes and bring peace back to the world.
