With Christmas seeing many of us receive that long-awaited console or maybe a stack of new games to get stuck into, it is safe to assume that we already have a backlog to catch up with.

However, Steam is ready to add to the ever-growing pile by adding a whopping nine free games to its PC storefront.

Once Human is yet another free Steam download which you can grab right now!

Available to download now, and featuring a title for everyone, these upcoming titles are worth grabbing now to add to your library.

25920 - three-dimensional grid turn-based strategy game where you can take on the computer or your friends to prove who has the ultimate brain power.

Klondike’s Hike: A Solitaire Roguelike - with Balatro being the game-of-the-moment, this solitaire-based roguelike is also not one to sleep on. Modify cards, bend the rules and power through all of the traps in your way.

JBomb - Adventure, puzzles, and online cooperation await in this side-scrolling, action-strategy game.

Slice, Suffer, Serve! - is not me making a sandwich but rather a 2D “slice-and-click game” where you take on the role of a chef who must serve their ghostly customers. Cooking Mama just got a whole lot scarier.

Tank Arena: Total Operation - an MMO war game where you command a fleet of tanks, armoured vehicles and helicopters in 12v12 gameplay.

Millivolt - third-person adventure puzzle game where you take on the role of tiny robot, Robert Wattson as he navigates the world of a household microwave.

Saloon King - a cinematic, Western shooter with “spray ‘n pray action”. Take over the saloon armed with just your pistols and clear out anybody who dares stand in your way.

Royal Quest Online - a brand-new MMORPG which features four classes to choose from as well as hundreds of locations, quests, PvP and PvE modes and much more.

Frightening Monastery - a strategy-based RPG which sees you get captured by Sister Madeline after receiving a mysterious invitation to a summer camp. Now you must escape before she can carry out her evil plans.
