Eight is the magic number

With the start of a new week comes another selection of free titles you can start playing.

These free games come with no strings attached, and once you’ve downloaded them you can keep them indefinitely.

Once again, we have to thank Steam for being so generous with its selection of bargain experiences.

We’ve got a lot of ground to cover, so let’s get started.

Make sure to watch The Shadow Over Cyberspace trailer

  • Sixteen Undead – This a recently launched title that’s all about that need for speed. Tear up the road in this tale about an undead teen named Jimmy.
  • Recoil Control: The Adventures of Rico Ché – Although this is a low poly experience, that doesn’t mean you don’t need your wits about you. Navigate your way through enemies and puzzles in this indie shooter.
  • Victory of Sucker – A little bit of everything condensed down into this fun-loving title. Build, train, fight, and do whatever it takes to beat your rivals.
  • My Slime Garden – Fancy some Slime Rancher-like action but simplified? Then this is the right critter catching game for you. Create new slimes while exploring numerous islands.
  • Skystead Christmas – This hidden object game might have a festive theme, but it has plenty of reasons to keep you playing it at any time of the year. Keep your eyes peeled because some of these objects are hard to spot.
  • Starcade FACTIONS – If you prefer strategising while gaming, this real-time strategy game is going to go down a treat. Be warned, this is filled with fast paced action, so think fast.
  • Recoil – Pixel art graphics and a platformer? Sign us up right now because this sounds incredible. Although you have a pistol handy, violence isn’t always the answer in this curious tale.
  • The Shadow Over Cyberspace – A stunning indie horror that’s set just as the 00s are getting underway. But something lurks in the shadows that warrants further investigation.

There’s surely at least one title there, if not more, that have whet your appetite.

So, turn on your PC or Steam Deck and get gaming.
