If you’re after some video games that you can check out for free to keep busy this weekend on Steam, then you’re in the right place.

How many times have we jumped into buying a video game because a trailer looks cool, only to be disappointed because we’ve wasted our hard-earned money? I’m sure for most of us, that has happened more times than we’d care to count, which is why free playable demos can be a blessing.

Check out the Euro Truck Simulator 2 trailer below!

Here are seven video games that you can download and play for free on Steam via playable demos right now:

  • Euro Truck Simulator 2: “Travel across Europe as king of the road, a trucker who delivers important cargo across impressive distances! With dozens of cities to explore, your endurance, skill and speed will all be pushed to their limits.”
  • INAZUMA ELEVEN - Victory Road: “With an original story featuring new main characters, over 4,500 players from across the series' history to collect and train, as well as exciting online tournaments, you can play the game your way!”
  • Evil Corporation “is a co-op horror exploration game. Travel through eerie levels, while avoiding creatures and other dangers, trying to get even with the Corporation.”
  • Bopl Battle: “A couch/online game where you battle your friends with unique and wild abilities. There are many choices such as a shrink ray, creating black holes, stopping time and attaching a rocket engine to the stage to send it flying.”
  • Dungeon Clawler “is a Roguelike Claw Machine Deckbuilder. Build your unique deck, fight enemies by grabbing weapons and items from a claw machine and find special artefacts that help you on your quest to reclaim something you lost.”
  • Cat Bait “is a casual game with cute pixel graphics. Control the Cat Bait, dodge enemies, and use the unique abilities of helper cats.”
  • Football Manager 2024: “Build a world-class team ready to dominate your rivals in football’s most prestigious competitions. Progress never stops when you’re pursuing footballing greatness.”

So, there you have it, those are just seven of the thousands of video games that you can check out for free right now on Steam. Hopefully, something will tickle your fancy.
