Steam is bursting with a wide array of titles, many of which are free.

To further bolster its selection, a total of 16 new games have become free to download and keep.

We won’t bombard you with a long list of every title, however, we will walk you through a few of the experiences on offer to help you make an informed decision.

To kick things off, let’s take a look at Neon Runners: Craft & Dash, a puzzle platformer with a cutesy aesthetic.

Having launched 6 Feb, the game is still in its infancy, however, the feedback has been rather positive thus far.

“It's seriously addictive. Shaving off seconds from my record is so fun that I keep challenging myself,” one review reads.

Another Steam title you should check out is Double Shoulders

If you fancy challenging yourself to get better and better, this small but fun title is available for PC players now.

Next we have Pixel Horizons, a much more cosy experience for those who prefer crafting over jumping.

Even though you can relax most of the time, there are dangers lurking in the ruins you explore, so make sure to be careful.

“A great game to pass the time,” shared a fan. “You can laugh and catch healthy fish . A huge, beautiful world. What else do you need to have a joyful time? NOTHING.”

Then there’s The Chef's Shift: First Course.

You can expect a fast-paced experience when you try this one, though you won’t be “cooking” in a conventional sense.

While there are many tasks to complete, you so do by typing rather than clicking. It adds something new to the sim management genre that helps it stand out from the crowd.

Players have praised the title for its originality, saying, “Knows its concept and how to twist it in a smart and fun way.”

We know that’s only three out of the 16 titles, however, that should give you enough of an overview to demonstrate how diverse the games on offer are.
