Cyberpunk 2077 meets LA Noire in your new favourite game

We've not wishlisted a game quite as quickly as this

Not to cause a stir or anything, but the facts are this: LA Noire is a fabulous game that really deserves more attention than it gets. It’s somewhat dated now, though, which is probably why people don’t talk about it much.

But what if we told you, you could savour the investigative qualities of LA Noire, but with a Cyberpunk 2077 twist?

Check out the Nobody Wants to Die trailer below

The moment we heard about Steam’s Nobody Wants to Die, we were sold on its concept. Admittedly, we were a bit alarmed at first, as the title sounds a little menacing; but once we got past that, we discovered an upcoming game that’s going to blow people away.

“Lose yourself in the world of New York, 2329, where immortality comes at a price that someone has to pay. Following a near-death experience, Detective James Karra takes an off-the-books case from his chief with only the help of a young police liaison, Sara Kai, to assist him. Time reveals all as they risk everything in pursuit of a killer, uncovering the dark secrets of the city's elite.”

This is a stunning looking game, created using Unreal Engine 5. It promises to deliver a narrative driven experience that puts you in the driver’s seat of the investigation. We’re going Minority Report vibes from Nobody Wants to Die, not least of all because of its dystopian environment that abuses the memories of its citizens.

Hoping to “push the boundaries of storytelling”, this upcoming game is set for release later this year, although a specific date hasn’t been provided. From what we can see on its information page, the game will be compatible for Mac users. However, only Microsoft specs are given, so make sure to proceed with caution if you’re an Apple gamer.

Nobody Wants to Die is a game we’ll be keeping our eyes on – we advise you do the same.
