Red Dead Redemption 2 players warned they've 24 hours to claim free download

Red Dead Redemption 2 players are being rewarded this month with exclusive rewards, making it more fun than ever to be a bounty hunter in the game.

While it wasn’t supported nearly as much as GTA V: Online has been, the online version of Red Dead Redemption 2 is still good fun, especially when you play it with friends.

Hopefully the online mode for GTA VI is just as good

There’s also a dedicated PC community who host servers for roleplay, or just hyper-realistic versions of the game if that’s your cup of tea.

For those on Xbox and PlayStation though who play the normal version of Red Dead Online, a new event will reward those that spend their time bounty hunting, the only way to play a Wild West game in my humble opinion.

Rockstar Games regularly throws out these challenges, usually separated into weekly and monthly ones.

This week from 3 September to 9 September your weekly quest is to capture at leas three bounties, upon doing so you’ll be rewarded with the beige Morning Tail Coat.

You haven’t got long to do this though as the weekly challenge will disappear in under 24 hours, so if you haven’t done it already and fancy adding that coat to your wardrobe get to it.

The monthly challenges and their rewards are as follows: “Rein in an Infamous Bounty to gain 3 Potent Miracle Tonics and 50 Split Point Repeater Ammo, complete a Legendary Bounty to get 3 Hawkmoth Bolas, or finish your Bounty Hunter Daily Challenges for three days in a row to receive the tan and black Leavitt Jacket, all before September 30.”

Red Dead Redemption 2’s online mode still has a lot of life left in it despite a surprising lack of content updates, so if you’re looking for a reason to keep playing this is it.
