Red Dead Redemption 2 is the latest in a long line of games to be added to Sony's PlayStation Plus service, alongside several others.

The cowboy title was originally released in 2018 across PlayStation, Xbox and PC systems, and has been on and off Sony's service since release. It's unclear how long exactly it'll be sticking around this time, though, so fans who have been waiting to play the title should jump on it as soon as they can, while also trying out the other games that are coming to the subscription service.

Take a look at some of our favourite RDR2 wins and fails below.

The list of games that have been added to Sony's PlayStation Plus Extra tier game catalogue this month are as follows:

  • Red Dead Redemption 2
  • The Sims 4: City Living Expansion
  • Deceive Inc
  • Crime Boss: Rockay City
  • The Settlers: New Allies
  • Stranded: Alien Dawn
  • Cat Quest
  • Cat Quest 2
  • The Lego Movie 2 Video Game
  • Watch Dogs

An interesting thing to note is that the addition of Red Dead Redemption 2 to PlayStation Plus Extra comes as a dataminer has found information that could reveal that the original Red Dead Redemption (not to be confused with the first game in the Red Dead series, Red Dead Revolver) is coming to PC.

Several marketing strings were discovered by leaker 'Tez2' that contain the following text: "Journey across the sprawling American West and Mexico in Red Dead Redemption, and its zombie-horror companion, Undead Nightmare - now playable on PC."

If this leak is true, it's likely that we'll know sooner rather than later, and that an announcement will come through the official channels of developer Rockstar or publisher Take-Two Interactive.
