PlayStation gamers surprised with free download for massive RPG

Kick off the new year with a bang

Purchasing a game these days is quite the investment with the majority of new AAA releases costing around £60 so you can’t blame customers for wanting to try before they buy.

However, with many game trials only offering around 1-hour of gameplay, it is hard to experience all the title has to offer in such a limited time.

Check out the trailer for Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth below!

Luckily for us, Sony is giving PlayStation Plus Premium members the chance to try out an epic 2024 RPG for 10 whole hours in a free game trial.

With no content withheld, available for an indefinite amount of time AND free to try for both PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 users, Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth is the free trial up for grabs this time.

As mentioned, players can dive into the Sega RPG for up to 10-hours at no extra cost as long as they are PS Plus Premium members.

With the game reportedly taking up to 55 hours to complete (with 100+ hours to those looking for 100% completion), it is hardly a small game so a 10-hour trial will give you ample opportunity to try before you buy.

This will also be good for players who are feeling unsure about Infinite Wealth being the first Like a Dragon entry to feature turn-based combat which, as we all know, can not be to everybody’s taste.

Furthermore, any saved data and trophies earned during the free trial will be carried over to the full game if you happen to purchase Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth afterwards.

Infinite Wealth released back in January 2024 and was met with rave reviews from critics and audiences alike.

In our review here at GAMINGbible, we warned players that they should be “prepared to fall for Ichiban’s infinite charm”.

Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth is an absolute delight of a game that I cannot stop thinking about whether it’s indulging in its story or discovering what joys await around the next corner in the gorgeous Honolulu City,” our review read.

“Despite the turned-based combat formula not initially being to my liking, Yakuza: Like a Dragon helped change my mindset for the better.

Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth builds upon its predecessor's foundations with an almighty power buff solidifying it as one of my favourite games in the entire series.”
