PlayStation Plus bonus free download available for you to claim now

PlayStation Plus subscribers are getting a little bonus this month, on top of the games and rewards previously announced by Sony.

Every once in a while, PlayStation Plus subscribers get bonus items for games they play, or for popular online multiplayer titles, like Fortnite.

There’s never much hype around these additions, and mostly they’re spotted next to your game when you boot it up.

So, if you weren’t already aware of this extra content for Overwatch 2, then this is your heads up to get over to your PlayStation and claim the freebie.

The Overwatch 2 Gwishin Bastion Bonus Pack, comes with not only a legendary Gwishin skin for Bastion, but it also includes five level skips for the current battle pass.

As mentioned above, you do need to be a PlayStation Plus customer to redeem this offer, but this isn’t tied to a particular tier of membership, so even Essential subscribers can claim it.

There’s no catch to claiming the awesome skin, however, if you’re looking for a catch here, it’s those battle pass skips.

In order to utilise those, you need to be under level 80 on the pass, so it’ll nudge you that bit closer to completion, but if you’re already quite far along it won’t count for this season.

It’s not all bad, as Blizzard did note, “Any excess tier skips you purchase past level 80 are banked and will be automatically redeemed at launch of the following season.”
