PlayStation is often adding little freebies here and there, usually through the PlayStation Plus service, however, you can download plenty of demos without the need of a subscription.
The console has access to several new trials, all available through PSN, without the need to put down any money first, and each will give you a short time with a banging PlayStation game.
Star Wars Outlaws is worth checking out from this selection of demos.
Allow me to give you a selection of six great games to try out today.

First up, you can celebrate Star Wars Day on 4 May by playing Ubisoft’s action-adventure, Star Wars Outlaws.
We loved the game on release, and after many patches and updates, the game is a great way to envelop yourself in the galaxy.
Rather than becoming a Jedi, you’ll instead be a bit of a rogue, smuggling, pulling off nefarious schemes, and trying to make a better life for yourself in a corrupt society.
If that’s not your thing, try out Unbeatable instead. An anime-inspired rhythm game, with gorgeous visuals, and engaging gameplay that will hook you right in.

If you’d rather an action roguelike, with hulking bosses, and relentless hordes of enemies, then Soulstone Survivors might be your cup of tea.
Each Void Hunter hero has unique abilities and skill trees, allowing for some overpowered builds and special attacks.
Need to scratch that JRPG itch? Then Persona 3: Reload is the one for you, with great battles, brilliant characters, and an engrossing narrative to lose yourself in.
With Mandragora: Whispers of the Witch Tree, you’ve got a 2D soulslike mixed with metroidvania touches.

A great art style accompanies brawling action with swords, or slinging spells at enemies to weed out evil from the land.
Lastly, if you want a Mario Kart racer, then Moorhuhn Kart 4 will get you racing around tracks and blasting opponents with power-ups.
Give some of these great games a chance this weekend, why not?
