It’s time for a bargain, and you know how much we all love one of those. Sony, from out of nowhere, has suddenly dropped the price of their PlayStation 5 Slim model. Perhaps this comes in reply to the slumping sales reported a few weeks ago, but whatever they're thinking, you can grab a stonking deal.

The PlayStation 5 Slim is cheaper than normal, and it comes bundled with one of the best games for 2023, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, which featured both Peter Parker and Miles Morales teaming up to defeat Venom. If you’re yet to jump into this generation of consoles, or perhaps aren’t gobbling up those Sony exclusives, this is your chance.

The deal has been rolled out across several retailers including Best Buy, Gamestop, and Walmart. It will cost you $399, and the model in question is the digital model, which doesn’t come with a disc drive, however, you can buy that separately if you choose to. This is a great deal for this time of year given that it’s not part of a seasonal discount scheme.

There's also currently £70 off for a limited time in Amazon's spring sale.

The PlayStation brand has seen some amazing exclusives of late, with the aforementioned Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, but also The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered, along with the titles that are a little older, such as Ghost of Tsushima, and Horizon Forbidden West. And, seeing as Sony doesn’t seem to want to share their upcoming titles, if you want to try your hand at any of their first-party exclusives, you’re going to need a PS5.

Let’s be honest, as gamers we all want to own one of every console, but with the still ongoing cost of living crisis, we need to pinch some pennies where possible. Deals like this are a great way of staying up-to-date and not breaking the bank. Have at it.
