PlayStation 5 gamers surprised with hefty free store credit you can claim now

Don't miss this, it's easy money

PlayStation 5 owners can help themselves to a serving of points by buying a new game, and it’s probably one on your list anyway.

It’s slowly becoming more and more difficult to earn points through PlayStation Stars, making it harder to rack up enough for those sweet, sweet gift cards.

Have you had a chance to play Astro Bot yet? Take a look at the game below

That being said, there are still some sure-fire ways to earn easy points, though they might cost you a bit.

Aside from challenges usually requiring you to play some of the latest PlayStation Plus additions, you’ll almost always have one to complete that requires you to buy a game.

This isn’t so bad because aside from the points you’ll get for completing the associated challenge you’ll also get points equivalent to how much you’ve spent on the game in the store.

The latest challenge requires you to buy a new release that you might have heard of, though it’s a bit of an obscure title, basically an indie game when you think about it…

It’s none other than Astro Bot, the new Sony platformer that’s taken the world by storm, quickly becoming one of the highest-rated games of 2024.

GAMINGbible awarded the adorable little robot a perfect 10/10 score, praising the visuals, platforming and the heartwarming allusions to PlayStation history.

If you’re yet to buy Astro Bot you should log onto PlayStation Stars and accept the latest challenge for the game, which will award you 150 points for your purchase, on top of the points you’ll get for spending money in the store.

It won’t be loads mind you, probably not enough for a £5 credit voucher, though every little helps and if you were going to get it anyway you might as well get the most bang for your buck.
